Grind - For a traditional drip machine, grind fine to medium.  For the freshest brew - grind just enough to use for your immediate brewing need.

Water - Clean water=Better coffee.  Whether sipped for pleasure, or guzzled on a coffee break, the taste of your coffee is directly related to the purity of the water you use.  Hard water from your tap contains chlorine, iron, and other chemicals that will taint the taste of your coffee.  To get clean water, you can either buy distilled water at the store or use a water filtering device.

Measure - We recommend 1 1/2 tablespoons of coffee for every 6 ounces of water.  If you feel that the resulting brew is too heavy, add hot water to your brewed coffee until you have the flavor you're looking for. Continue to experiment until you find the optimal combination. Using less ground coffee will cause the coffee grounds to over-extract, making for a bitter tasting cup of coffee!

Enjoy!
